Evangelicals of the Cross

The attributes of Evangelicals of the Cross:
  • Servant: With a servant’s heart minister to those in need within and outside the Christian Church.
  • Obedient: To spread the word of God, our savior Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit,
  • Warrior: Using the full armor of Almighty God defend the Christian Church and God’s people against all enemies

How?

The church must move beyond its walls and into the community. And the congregation must live out their faith in all areas of their life, and in all areas of society. If the Christian church is not involved in the discourse of ideas in the public square, answer the wrongs of moral behavior supported by government; then the government will enter the Christian church. The government’s goal is to control the culture of our society including the Christian church.

Our Purpose
To share and defend our faith:
  • By defending religious liberty in the public square by being an authentic voice on issues that impact the Church
  • By promoting and building Christian education, supporting our Christian schools, and fighting false teachings
  • By sharing our faith through events such as: lectures, film series, music and conferences
  • By developing service opportunities to help our local community
  • By starting prayer groups and speaking at churches about freedom

Our Guiding Principles
  • God's Law is above Man's Law
  • Marriage is between one man and one woman
  • There are only two genders - male and female
  • Abortion is murder
  • We love God with all our hearts
  • We love our neighbors as ourselves
  • To love your neighbor does not mean supporting or surrendering to your neighbors positions that violate our faith and Christian teachings.  It means love your neighbor by speaking the truth with love
  • We worship God, we live faith and we vote kingdom
  • We will not support politicians, companies or organizations that go against our faith and our First Amendment rights.
  • We defend the Church, the Constitution, religious liberty and recognize our nation's culture as founded on and based on Judeo-Christian principles and teachings.
  • We live our lives by the Ten Commandments
  • We believe in and follow the teachings in the Holy Scriptures
